ElevenLabs, a prominent player in artificial intelligence, has announced a significant expansion in its operations within Poland and India. This initiative includes an $11 million investment aimed at fostering AI ecosystems in these regions over the next five years, according to ElevenLabs.

Poland: A New AI Hub

In Poland, ElevenLabs plans to establish an R&D center and EU headquarters in Warsaw. This move is expected to attract AI talent from Poland and the broader Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The company aims to hire over 30 employees in 2025, with plans to expand the team by an additional 100 in subsequent years. The investment will also support educational initiatives and collaborations with local creators and dubbing actors, further enriching the AI landscape in the region.

India: Expanding AI Reach

India, recognized as one of the largest hubs for AI development, is also a focus of ElevenLabs' expansion. The company has appointed local leadership and is building a team to better serve its Indian clientele. Investments will focus on localizing technology capabilities, expanding coverage for Indic languages, and enhancing the Voice Library. These efforts aim to support the rapid growth of AI in India, aligning with the country's burgeoning demand for both consumer and business applications.

ElevenLabs' CEO, Mati Staniszewski, emphasized the importance of these efforts in supporting local talent and advancing language accessibility. "Our new efforts in Poland and India are about supporting local talent and making real progress in language accessibility, starting with two regions where we can make the most impact," Staniszewski stated.

Future Developments

As part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, ElevenLabs is also working on developing new tools and technologies. These include an enhanced long-form audio editor, interactive AI voice agents, and team collaboration tools. These advancements are expected to further cement the company's position as a leader in AI-driven solutions.

This expansion marks a significant step for ElevenLabs as it seeks to solidify its presence in Europe and Asia, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of AI development globally.
