SOL Price Prediction: Oversold spot setup meets bearish trend pressure

What happened

Solana is trading at $92.94 on the supplied Binance spot tape, after a 24-hour move of 1.25% and within a daily range of $89.86 to $93.93. That keeps price above the 200-day SMA of $88.97, but still below the 7-day SMA of $94.26, the 20-day SMA of $100.27 and the 50-day SMA of $108.61. In practical terms, the short- and medium-term trend remains weaker than the longer baseline, even though the longer-term support area is still nearby.

The momentum picture is stretched but not repaired. RSI(14) is 28.95, which places SOL in oversold territory, while MACD is negative at -4.2342 and stochastic readings are also depressed. Bollinger data points the same way: the lower band is $90.79, the middle band is $100.27, and %B is 0.1133, which puts price close to the lower edge of the recent range rather than near a trend recovery zone.

What the derivatives data says

The Binance Futures funding rate is 0.0100% on the 8-hour settlement cycle, which is neutral rather than aggressively one-sided. Open interest is 9,299,452.35 contracts, with a daily open interest value of $868,679,459 and a 24-hour change of 0.67%. That shows active participation, but not a clear leverage washout or squeeze signal on its own.

Positioning is more skewed than funding. In the Binance global accounts cohort, the 1-hour long/short ratio is 3.1545, with 75.9% long and 24.1% short, observed at 2026-11-04 07:00:00 UTC. In the Binance top-trader cohort, the 1-hour ratio is even more long-biased at 3.7461, with 78.9% long and 21.1% short, also observed at 2026-11-04 07:00:00 UTC. Those figures describe Binance cohorts only; they do not mean the broader market, spot holders or non-Binance participants are positioned the same way.

Taker flow is much less decisive. The 1-hour taker buy/sell ratio is 0.9579, with buy volume of 222,756 against sell volume of 232,544. That is close to balanced, so the market is not showing a strong burst of aggressive buying even though derivatives positioning leans long.

How to read the setup

The current structure is mixed rather than cleanly bullish or bearish. Price is oversold and sitting near the lower Bollinger Band, which can support a bounce if buyers step in. At the same time, the market is still trading below the short- and medium-term averages, and momentum has not turned up yet. That combination usually leaves room for either a reflex rebound or another test of nearby support, depending on whether spot demand improves.

Scenarios from here

A recovery would first need to clear the immediate resistance at $94.63, then the 7-day SMA at $94.26, with $96.31 as the next upside level in the supplied structure. A failure to regain that area keeps the focus on $90.56, the immediate support, followed by $88.17, which sits close to the 200-day SMA at $88.97. If that longer-term support zone gives way, the bearish tone would strengthen further.

Alejandro Arrieche of FXEmpire said on November 2, 2026 that SOL could dip to $83 to $77 in the next few days. That view is dated and should be read as a separate market opinion, not as a confirmed outcome. It does, however, line up with the broader message from the current tape: the market is oversold, but the trend has not yet shifted back in favor of buyers.
