KORU Price Prediction: Selling pressure leaves support exposed after a sharp drop

What happened

According to the supplied Binance futures data, KORU closed at $9.42 after a 15.97% 24-hour decline. The session traded between $11.63 and $9.05, with 24-hour volume at $1,319,374,091. That move pushed price below the 7-day SMA at $10.56, the 20-day SMA at $11.01, the 12-day EMA at $10.92, and the 26-day EMA at $12.54. The 50-day SMA at $16.11 remains well above spot, which shows the short- and medium-term trend has weakened materially.

This matters because the current price is now close to the lower Bollinger Band at $9.39, while the Bollinger %B reading of 0.0084 indicates price is pressing against the lower edge of the band structure. The daily ATR(14) of $1.26 also suggests the move is occurring in a relatively wide volatility environment, so sharp intraday swings can continue.

What the indicators are saying

The momentum readings do not yet show a confirmed rebound. The daily RSI(14) is 33.13, which is near oversold territory but not a reversal signal by itself. Stochastic %K at 7.36 and %D at 5.88 point to weak near-term momentum. The MACD is -1.6194, with the signal line also at -1.6194 and the histogram at 0.0000, which leaves the trend soft rather than repaired.

The trading levels supplied with the data frame the next test points. Immediate support is $8.44, followed by strong support at $7.45. On the upside, the pivot point is $10.03, then immediate resistance at $11.02 and strong resistance at $12.61. In practical terms, KORU needs to reclaim the pivot before the short-term structure starts to stabilize. Until then, the burden stays with buyers.

Positioning and flow context

The derivatives tape still shows a crowded long bias on Binance cohorts, but that should be read carefully. The global long/short ratio is 9.5152, with Binance global accounts at 90.5% long and 9.5% short. Top-trader accounts are even more skewed, with a 13.1243 ratio and 92.9% long versus 7.1% short. These figures describe Binance account cohorts only; they do not prove retail or institutional positioning outside that venue.

Funding is positive at 0.1067% per 8 hours, which means longs are paying shorts. At the same time, the taker buy/sell ratio is 0.8581, with buy volume of 970,088 versus sell volume of 1,130,481. Taken together, the data show that while many Binance accounts are leaning long, aggressive selling has dominated the recent tape.

The open interest data adds to that picture. Open interest stands at 11,680,951.89 contracts, and the open interest value is $93,463,077, with a 24-hour increase of 9.35%. That suggests new positioning is being added while price is falling, which can keep the move unstable rather than settled.

Scenario framing

If KORU holds the lower band area near $9.39 and reclaims the $10.03 pivot, the first upside checkpoint is $11.02. A move through that level would improve the short-term structure and reduce immediate downside pressure.

If the current support area fails, the next levels supplied by the data are $8.44 and then $7.45. That would keep the bearish structure intact and leave the market dependent on whether selling pressure eases.

No significant price predictions were supplied recently, and no additional Yahoo Finance fundamentals or analyst targets were included in the evidence set, so they are omitted here.
