LTC Price Prediction: Bears still hold the edge as Litecoin tests support

What happened

Litecoin is changing hands at $55.84, up 2.40% over the past 24 hours, after trading between $57.04 and $54.45 on Binance spot volume of $12.32 million. That places LTC close to its pivot point of $55.78, which leaves the market in a narrow decision zone rather than in a confirmed trend. The current price also sits above the 7-day SMA of $55.37, but below the 20-day SMA of $57.33, the 12-day EMA of $56.27, the 26-day EMA of $58.00, and the 50-day SMA of $61.92.

Why the setup still leans cautious

The supplied indicators do not show a clean recovery. Daily RSI is 42.76, which is neutral but still below the midpoint that usually signals stronger upside momentum. MACD is -1.7350, with the signal line at the same level and the histogram at 0.0000, so the chart is not showing a decisive momentum turn. Stochastic %K at 48.20 and %D at 38.56 also point to a market that is stabilizing, but not yet pushing through resistance with conviction.

Bollinger Bands frame the same picture. Price is below the middle band at $57.33 and above the lower band at $53.03, so LTC is trading in the lower half of its recent range. The %B reading of 0.3267 supports that reading: the market is closer to support than to the upper band. Daily ATR(14) of $2.54 suggests that nearby levels can still be tested quickly if volatility expands.

What the derivatives data adds

Binance futures data show a market that is less aggressively positioned than it was. Open interest is 1,194,173.26 contracts, while the daily open interest value is $61.51 million and the 24-hour OI change is -8.38%. That decline is consistent with position reduction or liquidations, which usually means leverage has been trimmed rather than built.

Funding is 0.0100%, which is effectively neutral and does not show a strong long or short premium. The Binance cohort ratios lean long, but they should be read narrowly: global accounts are 63.6% long versus 36.4% short, and top-trader accounts are 70.3% long versus 29.7% short in the 1-hour window. Those figures describe Binance cohorts, not the whole market, and they do not by themselves prove broader conviction. The taker buy/sell ratio of 1.1777, with buy volume of 9,421 versus sell volume of 8,000, does show more aggressive buying in the short term.

What the supplied outlooks mean

Dikshant Dibbey of CoinGabbar said bears still have the edge because price is $4.31 below the 50-day EMA, long liquidations made up 91% of 24-hour liquidations, and the $53.77 floor is only $0.51 below the cited price. In that view, a daily candle below $53.77 would open the way to a $47.56 target for November 2026. That is a conditional downside scenario, not a fixed forecast.

CoinCodex is different: it is an algorithmic forecast, not a named analyst statement. Its model said Litecoin could reach $57.05 on November 9, 2026, which it described as 1.22% growth versus the then-current price. That should be treated as a model output, not as an analyst call, and it does not cancel the weaker structure shown by the moving averages and momentum readings.

Levels that matter now

The immediate support to watch is $54.51, with stronger support at $53.19. On the upside, immediate resistance is $57.10, followed by $58.37. If LTC loses $54.51, the lower band and the $53.77 floor from the CoinGabbar view come back into focus. If it reclaims $57.10 and then $57.33, the short-term tone improves, but price would still need to clear the broader moving-average cluster to shift the larger setup.

No dated macro catalyst was supplied, so the next trigger point cannot be tied to a specific event date from the evidence provided.
