LINK Price Prediction: Support is under pressure as futures lean bullish
LINK loses momentum, but derivatives are not confirming a clean bearish breakdown
Chainlink’s spot price is $10.70, down 7.26% over the last 24 hours, with the session trading between $11.65 and $10.51. That places LINK close to the lower edge of its recent range and just above the lower Bollinger band at $10.51, while the Bollinger %B reading of 0.0894 shows price hugging support rather than expanding upward. The 24-hour spot volume on Binance was $27,214,172.
The broader trend is still pressuring the chart from above. LINK remains below its 7-day SMA at $11.15, 20-day SMA at $11.54, 50-day SMA at $12.61, 12-day EMA at $11.25, and 26-day EMA at $11.69. Only the 200-day SMA at $10.07 sits below the current price, which means the long-term line is still intact for now, but only narrowly.
Momentum is weak, but not in a full capitulation phase
The indicator set points to a market that has lost strength without yet slipping into a decisive breakdown. RSI at 38.46 is below the midpoint and reflects weak but not extreme momentum. MACD at -0.4448, with the signal line also at -0.4448 and the histogram essentially flat at -0.0000, suggests downside momentum is present but not accelerating. Stochastic %K at 24.33 and %D at 19.46 reinforce that the market is still in a soft zone.
ATR(14) is $0.69, so LINK is still moving enough intraday to matter around nearby levels. In practical terms, that makes the support and resistance band around the current price more important than any single indicator reading on its own.
The levels are clear
The supplied trading map leaves a fairly tight structure. Immediate support is $10.25, with strong support at $9.81. On the upside, pivot is $10.95, immediate resistance is $11.40, and strong resistance is $12.09.
That puts LINK in a simple position: it is trading below the pivot and above the first support band, so the market needs to reclaim $10.95 before the chart starts looking less fragile. Until then, the path of least resistance remains capped by the $11.40 area and the cluster of moving averages overhead.
CoinGabbar’s dated calls point to nearby upside checkpoints, but only on confirmation
Aashish Vishwakarma of CoinGabbar said on November 4, 2026 that the nearest Chainlink price target was $11.262, followed by $11.376 at the 50 EMA. He then said on November 5, 2026 that bulls would need a 4-hour candle above $11.983 backed by volume over $392.39 million to open $12.809, described as the Oct. 22 lower high.
Those are dated technical forecasts, not a guarantee and not institutional research. The November 4 view maps to nearby resistance just above the current price, while the November 5 note adds a stricter breakout condition that has not been met in the supplied data. The observation dates matter here because the targets were presented as time-specific technical outlooks, not open-ended calls.
Binance futures are leaning long, even as spot weakens
The derivatives data tells a different story from the spot tape. Binance funding is 0.0055%, which is neutral rather than extreme. Open interest is 7,778,693.46 contracts, with daily open interest value at $91,437,285 and a 24-hour OI change of 11.59%. That rise in open interest suggests new positions are being added, which can amplify whichever direction price chooses next.
Positioning is tilted to the long side across Binance cohorts. The global long/short ratio is 1.8885, with long accounts at 65.4% and short accounts at 34.6% as of 2026-11-06 07:00:00 UTC. Top traders are even more skewed at 2.4165, with 70.7% long and 29.3% short at the same observation time. The taker buy/sell ratio is 1.1077, with buy volume of 166,268 versus sell volume of 150,100, which points to some aggressive buying pressure.
That does not prove broader market conviction, and it should not be treated as a retail-versus-institutional split. It does, however, show that Binance derivatives positioning is leaning more constructive than the spot price action would suggest.
What would change the setup
If LINK loses $10.25, the next supplied downside reference is $9.81. If it reclaims $10.95, the market gets back above the pivot and opens a path toward $11.40, with $11.54 and $11.69 still acting as overhead friction before the $12.09 resistance zone. A move through that area would also bring CoinGabbar’s November 5 breakout condition into focus, but only if the required 4-hour close and volume threshold are met.
For now, the message is straightforward: spot is under pressure, momentum is soft, and the chart remains below key averages. But futures positioning has not turned defensive, so the next move likely depends on whether buyers can defend $10.25 and push LINK back above the pivot rather than whether the current pullback has already ended.
