Rejected: Binance Update: Trading Pairs for Russian Ruble (RUB)
The recent update from Binance, the world-leading cryptocurrency exchange platform by daily trading volume, is the addition of trading pairs for the Russian Ruble (RUB), the currency of the Russian Federation, in the USDⓈ trading market.
The trading pairs include: Binance Coin against Russian Ruble (BNB/RUB), Bitcoin against Russian Ruble (BTC/RUB), Ethereum against Russian Ruble (ETH/RUB) and Ripple against Russian Ruble (XRP/RUB). The trading pairs were opened at 2019/12/02 1:00 PM (UTC).
Starting from the stated time, RUB deposits had been opened. Users could deposit the fiat Russian Ruble and trading it against any of the pairs mentioned above.
In a report by Blockchain.news, the development of Fiat-to-Crypto was announced on the official Binance blog on October 24, 2019, with the introduction of the Nigerian Naira as the first fiat currency on the platform which was possible through partnering with Flutterwaves, a Nigerian based electronic payment company with the following trading pairs: BUSD/NGN, BNB/NGN, and BTC/NGN.
On November 18, Blockchain.news reported the addition of the Turkish fiat currency as the sixth Fiat-To-Crypto gateway on the Binance web platform to enable trading against bitcoin, ethereum, and XRP which was made possible through the partnership with Papara, a Turkey-based electronic payments firm.
