[Rejected] Bitcoin can be a Self-Defense Weapon against Inflation and Property Confiscation, Asserts Trace Mayer

Wyoming, a state in the U.S., has emerged to be one of the most pro-blockchain and pro-crypto regions. Through a podcast hosted by Peter McCormack, three prominent figures in Wyoming, namely Tyler Lindholm, Trace Mayer, and Caitlin Long, shared their insights pertaining to cryptocurrencies and the latest developments. 

Mayer noted:

“The U.S. Supreme Court has already upheld cryptography and freedom of speech. And the amount of Liberty that you get is directly proportional to the amount of protection that you can acquire for yourself.”

Mayer stipulated that Bitcoin can be used as a self-defense weapon against inflation and property confiscation. He, therefore, believed that Bitcoin could offer users autonomy, and this was incredible.

Mayer also proclaimed:

“The capital is going to flee into places where the holders of that capital are able to secure protection at the lowest possible price. And so there we have it, the first amendment and the second amendment playing very well with each other in this digital age.”

On the other hand, Lindholm praised the way Wyoming had made the laws supportive of various economic activities, such as cryptocurrencies.
