Dragon, the company behind the one of the largest ICOs in history, have burned 57 million of their coins, in preparation of the launch of their VIP Gaming, iGaming and eGaming ecosystem. Commonly known as Dragon Coin or DRG the burn took place at 8 seconds past the 8th minute at 8 pm on Thursday seeing 57 million Dragon Coins removed from circulation forever.

The burn comes shortly before the start of 30 days of testing with the Dragon ecosystem of their own Dragon Exchange and Dragon Social Wallet app with one Junket (VIP / High Roller gaming). Dragon Coin was resting around the 2300 position and in recent weeks leaped forward to sub 100 to around number 74 before the coin burn, and with trading volumes set to rise significantly post-burn, it is predicted that DRG will move closer towards the top of the rankings.

Initially designed to save time and money for VIP gamers by dramatically reducing fees to 0.5% per transaction Dragon CEO Paul Moynan has built up a surprising number of vertical markets to make use of Dragon Coin, also known as the world’s number one entertainment coin. With a global gaming market worth a staggering $138 Bn by the end of 2019, it looks like Dragon are set to make a significant impact within the crypto space.
