(Rejected 2) Exchange Behemoth (Binance) Introduces Access For Instant Purchase of Crypto via Russian Ruble
Binance, statistically determined in terms of data collected by daily trading volume is the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange and continues its markets exploration with the introduction of the ability to instantly purchase four major digital currencies directly with the Russian Ruble.
These new steps give permission to users of the exchange platform to link their Visa banking card directly to the site in order to purchase cryptocurrency assets like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin(BNB) and XRP with the use of Russian Ruble as announced on February 5. The announcements stated that users can make purchases with Ruble in less than a minute and do not have to make deposits prior to purchase.
The Exchange representative also stated the possibility of adding a Mastercard gateway, as well as the addition of more cryptocurrencies.
The exchange giants initially introduced the trading of Ruble sometimes around October 2019 with close to zero publicity made about it. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao while acknowledging that Russia was one of the top 10 markets of the platform during the introduction of Ruble last year which allows users to deposit and withdraw in Russia’s national currency.
This is backed by a Survey carried out by Russian language crypto news outlet Forklog released last summer which clearly shows Binance as the most popular exchange in the region which includes Russia, Ukraine and Belarus as nearly 60% of respondents chose binance as their preferred Exchange.
The introduction of Ruble now joins the list of FIAT currencies that have been added to the trading platform. Last December, the exchange extended trading capabilities for the Turkish Lira while also adding a new trading pair for the Lira and Ruble. The manager for Binance Turkey’s community informed reporters that users now have access to trade pairs like BTC, ETH, XRP, BNB, BUSD, and USDT against the Lira which previously wasn’t fully functional except to users who want to make a one-click buy or sells directly to and from the exchange.
The exchange seeks to continue the trend of adding more countries to the list as seen in the recent introduction of the Vietnamese Dong.
