Duplicated:Technology Expert Posts 800,000USD Bail and Further Comments After Cryptocurrency Allegations

The U.S attorney’s office of New York, Southern District, overviewing the case, has released the following new information following early reports. Computing Scientist Virgil Griffith was taken into custody by the FBI upon arriving at LA International Airport and is facing charges of conspiracy violating the International Economic Powers act.

Ruling on Monday, a magistrate Judge decided that Mr. Griffith should go free while the case is brought further into view. The bond has been set at 800,000 USD which has been put against his family's homes as collateral. 

Mr. Grifffith has allegedly traveled to North Korea, without permission from the US government with knowledge on what he was doing to be illegal. The case brought against him follows the ruling of law that;

Mr. Griffith had applied to travel with certain information, but after being denied made plans to deceive and evade detection. Blockchain is believed to be involved as U.S governments are worried that money laundering and other possibilities within Digital Ledger Technology could be used to further aid North Korean plans regarding the law above.

Mr. Girffith followed up with information he believes is shared and completely online, and that his expert opinion on Cryptocurrency and blockchain was only to help educate and further his event speaking possibilities. 

 The FBI has been monitoring his phone and social media activity and have found a reason they believe to push this case forward.
