Huobi Joined the OTC Trading Race, Who Will Win?

Huobi launched a regulated over-the-counter (OTC) service for institutional investors. The newly launched OTC service supports both fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-crypto transactions, covering USD, GBP, EUR, BTC, ETH, and other cryptocurrencies.
Huobi also stated in its blog post that the newly launched service is built on the Huobi’s Gibraltar FSC-issued Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) license, where the Huobi’s DLT license was one of the first license that has been awarded by Gibraltar. The license serves as the first jurisdiction to introduce a purpose-built DLT regulatory framework.
Huobi claimed that the growing demand in the market from high volume traders lead to the launch of OTC desk. As the Senior Sales Manager for Huobi Global – Jeff Adams said “We also see an unfilled need for services aimed at those looking to make large volume transactions. Huobi OTC Desk is a big step forward to filling both of those needs.”
