Hyperledger Introduced Hyperledger Aries for Interoperability Enhancement

Hyperledger announced in its official blog post introducing its 13th project Hyperledger Aries: the infrastructure for blockchain-rooted, peer-to-peer interactions.
In particular, Hyperledger Aries acts as a shared infrastructure to allow the exchange of blockchain-based data, as well as to support peer-to-peer messaging in different scenarios. It also enables interoperable interaction among various blockchain and distributed ledger technologies (DLTs). It is worth noting that Hyperledger Aries is not a blockchain or an application.
Hyperledger Aries intends to fulfill two main purposes. Firstly, it provides code for secrets management, secure messaging for various decentralized systems, verifiable information exchange and peer-to-peer interaction. Secondly, it encourages the interoperability in the standard workflow, and expands the applicability of technologies from Hyperledger stack into a single and effective business solution.
In February, a member of the Hyperledger network – Intel had developed a commercial blockchain initiative base on Hyperledger to enable business creation using blockchain.
