(Rejected) Layer 2 Scaling Solution Boba Network Integrates With BNB Chain
Layer 2 scaling solution, Boba Network, created by Blockchain firm Enya, has now integrated with the BNB Chain to add support for the scaling of applications on the blockchain.
According to Boba, this integration represents a “foundational milestone” in the development of the Boba network. Web3 developers will now be able to build dApps or games on the BNB chain and enjoy all the benefits the blockchain offers. In addition, users and builders will now be able to deploy BNB Chain dApps on the new BOBA BNB L2 powered by Boba Network.
SushiSwap, one of the largest decentralized exchanges, and other projects such as BIZI, Nova Miningverse, Lady Blur, Chronogames, Foxtrot Command, and Nifty Souq will be the first movers to launch on the BNB Chain version of the Boba Network as a launch partner.
Furthermore, BNB Chain developers who use the Boba Network will be able to leverage Boba’s Hybrid Compute technology on the BOBA BNB L2. This benefit will give BNB chain developers a new method to interoperate with Internet infrastructure (Web2) through Web3 and blockchain by combining with any Web2 API systemization structure.
Boba also mentioned that BNB-enabled systemization frameworks could also benefit from Boba’s native NFT bridging, which permits the transfer of NFTs between the L1 and L2 in a transparent, and secure manner.
Boba is a multichain Layer-2 scaling solution and Hybrid Compute platform created by blockchain firm Enya in 2021.
This L2 solution is built on an Optimistic Rollup architecture (a scaling solution that uses off-chain computation to make transactions faster and cheaper on a blockchain) to help developers build feature-rich dApps by enabling smart contracts to leverage complex off-chain computations.
In April, Boba Network raised a total of $45 million in its series A funding round. According to the company, the funds raised will be used to expand Web3 offerings and invest in projects built on its ecosystem.
