(Rejected) Uniswap's UNI Token Goes Live on Robinhood Crypto
American trading platform Robinhood announced on Thursday, July 14 the official listing of Uniswap’s native UNI token on its crypto sector.

Uniswap is an Ethereum-based protocol platform which acts as a financial infrastructure that provides automated liquidity.
Uniswap, the decentralized exchange platform, and the on-chain market maker has launched its own governance token called Uni in 2020.
Upon listing, UNI surged by 14%, and at the time of writing, the token was trading at $7.04, according to CoinMarketCap.
To meet customer requests for a broader selection of cryptocurrencies, American financial services company Robinhood has listed Shiba Inu (SHIB), Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC), and Compound (COMP) for a total of 13 crypto assets.
In late June, the trading app also listed Chainlink (LINK).
By adding new cryptocurrencies, Robinhood is trying to improve its shrinking revenue from crypto trading. For example, cryptocurrencies generated about $48 million in trading revenue for Robinhood in the fourth quarter of last year, down 79% year over year, according to data from Bloomberg
More than 7,500 ether ($8 million) was hacked from Uniswap on Monday, as reported by Blockchain.News.
