The Beijing CITIC Notary Office launched the first blockchain-enabled notary in Beijing, as revealed by local media People on 19 April. “Blockchain-based notarization has both the value of notarization and legal significance of blockchain certification.” Said Wang Mingliang, the Director of the Beijing CITIC Notary Office. The blockchain-based solution allows certificate holders to verify the information of notary documents by scanning QR code. The Bitfury Group had partnered up with the Swiss based investment firm – Final Frontier to launch a bitcoin mining fund for institutional investors, according to its Twitter feed on 24 April.
