The Greyparrot Analyzer, a compact AI-powered device, is transforming how recycling plants handle materials. Equipped with embedded cameras and a machine learning object detection model (ODM), the device can identify and differentiate various waste materials on conveyor belts with remarkable speed and accuracy. This system, trained on tens of millions of waste images, processes data in less than 60 milliseconds.

The device's ODM, powered by NVIDIA's cutting-edge GPUs and libraries, can recognize approximately 90 different material types. This capability enables recycling facilities to improve their sorting processes, leading to more homogeneous collections of recyclable materials, which are crucial for the $1.3 trillion recycling industry.

Operational Efficiency and Waste Intelligence

Greyparrot's analyzer provides invaluable real-time and longitudinal data to recycling plant operators. The company, which is part of the NVIDIA Inception Program, has also partnered with Bollegraaf Group, a leading recycling plant builder, to integrate its technology into new facilities.
