Ubisoft's latest installment, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, has made its debut on GeForce NOW, marking a significant addition to the cloud gaming platform. This much-anticipated game leads a lineup of 11 new titles joining GeForce NOW, according to NVIDIA's official blog.

Silent as a Shadow

Set in 16th-century Japan during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, Assassin’s Creed Shadows immerses players in a world of civil war and cultural exchange. Players assume the roles of Naoe, a fictional shinobi assassin, and Yasuke, a character inspired by the historical African samurai. Their intertwined stories unfold as they find themselves on opposing sides of a conflict.

With its dynamic stealth system, the game allows players to hide in shadows and utilize a new “Observe” mechanic to identify targets and objectives. Each character brings unique abilities to the table: Naoe excels in stealth with traditional Assassin techniques, while Yasuke offers a combat-focused playstyle.

The game is available to stream at up to 4K resolution and 120 frames per second for GeForce NOW Ultimate members, providing an exceptional gaming experience.

A Classic Reborn

Alongside Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the updated version of Fable Anniversary also joins the cloud. This enhanced version of the original Fable: The Lost Chapters features improved graphics, a new save system, and Xbox achievements, inviting players to shape their destinies in the world of Albion.

The game follows a young boy whose life changes after bandits attack his village. As he grows and makes moral choices, these decisions influence the story and physically alter his character.

GeForce NOW enables users to stream Fable Anniversary across various devices, transforming them into gaming rigs with up to eight-hour gaming sessions for Ultimate members.

Unleash the Games

Another highlight is Wreckfest 2, the sequel to the original demolition derby racing game by Bugbear Entertainment. It promises more intense and chaotic gameplay with customizable cars and enhanced multiplayer features, including skills-based matchmaking and split-screen mode.

These new titles are now available to stream on GeForce NOW, expanding the platform's diverse gaming library and offering players an enhanced cloud gaming experience.
