In a strategic move to enhance its financial services, Binance has announced the addition of new loanable assets on its Binance Loans (Flexible Rate) and VIP Loan platforms, according to Binance. This development, revealed on October 16, 2024, aims to provide users with increased flexibility and options in managing their digital assets.

Binance Loans (Flexible Rate)

The Binance Loans (Flexible Rate) product is designed for users seeking open-term loans, allowing them to collateralize cryptocurrencies that are part of their Simple Earn Flexible Products subscriptions. This offering enables users to borrow cryptocurrencies without committing to a fixed loan term, while simultaneously earning Real-Time APR rewards. The interest rates for these loans are updated every minute, and users can initiate a loan with a minimum equivalent of 1 USDC.

VIP Loan Service

For larger personal and institutional needs, Binance's VIP Loan service offers over-collateralized loans with competitive terms. This service is particularly beneficial for those looking to enhance liquidity for long-term investments, engage in leveraged trading, or implement hedging strategies. Binance's VIP Loan aims to unlock greater financial potential for its users.

Enhanced User Experience

To leverage the new loanable assets, users are encouraged to update their Binance App to the latest version, iOS v2.78.0 or Android v2.78.0, as previous versions do not support the placement of new Binance Loans (Flexible Rate) orders. Users interested in the VIP Loan service can contact the Binance VIP Key Account Coverage team for more detailed information.

Binance continues to expand its suite of financial products, positioning itself as a versatile platform for digital asset management. The recent additions to its loan services reflect the platform's commitment to providing comprehensive solutions tailored to the diverse needs of its global user base.
