Binance Introduces Risk Warnings for Tokens with Significant Tokenomics Changes
Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the introduction of risk warnings for tokens that have undergone significant changes to their tokenomics and supply. This move aims to enhance transparency and protect users, according to an official announcement from Binance.
New Risk Warning Measures
Starting from October 1, 2024, Binance will implement a risk warning banner and a pop-up notification for tokens that have experienced notable changes in their tokenomics. This measure is designed to ensure users are well-informed about the potential risks associated with these tokens. Before gaining trading access to such tokens, users will be required to acknowledge the pop-up notification.
Affected Tokens
The risk warnings will initially apply to tokens that have seen significant tokenomics changes in the past 18 months. Moving forward, any listed tokens that encounter substantial changes to their tokenomics or a significant increase in token supply will also be subject to the new risk warning protocols.
Commitment to Transparency
Binance emphasized its commitment to building a transparent and sustainable crypto ecosystem. The exchange believes that these measures will help users make more informed decisions, thereby promoting long-term growth within the crypto community.
Additional Notes
Binance clarified that other services related to the affected tokens would not be impacted by these changes. The exchange also noted that there might be discrepancies in translated versions of the announcement, advising users to refer to the original English version for the most accurate information.
