Bitfinex Pay Unveils Updates in Version 0.7.3 to Enhance Merchant Dashboard
Bitfinex Pay has announced the release of its latest update, Version 0.7.3, which brings a series of enhancements and bug fixes to its Merchant Dashboard. This internal tool is designed to equip merchants with robust reporting capabilities and features to manage their crypto gateway effectively, according to blog.bitfinex.com.
Merchant Dashboard Enhancements
The update introduces several improvements to the Merchant Dashboard, including the relocation of the Dust Balance amount setting to the Wallets menu. This change allows users to access it via the cog next to the "Hide Dust Balance toggle." Additionally, the Payouts payment flow has been refined with multiple UI/UX improvements. A confirmation modal has been added for customers attempting to exit the Payouts payment flow, and the error messages for incomplete Payouts payments have been enhanced. In preparation for the MATIC to POL network upgrade, the MATIC (mainnet) wallet has been removed.
Bug Fixes
The latest version addresses several issues, including the incorrect display of BTC prices as zero when the fiat currency was COP. It also rectifies the improper calculation of fiat amounts in some Payouts transactions. Scientific notation errors have been fixed, ensuring a zero balance is displayed correctly in ETH or BTC Payouts payments. Furthermore, an error message now appears when the amount to be sent is less than the 5 USD equivalent in Payouts payments. Additionally, issues with fiat calculations during crypto-based Payouts payments have been resolved.
End Customer Payment Flow Improvements
Version 0.7.3 also brings enhancements to the End Customer Payment Flow. Various improvements have been made to the invoice colors when using white label solutions. The payment method now appears on the Bitfinex Pay receipt, and some field copies in the receipt have been updated to improve clarity.
These updates aim to streamline the experience for both merchants and customers, making it easier to manage and process crypto payments. The ongoing development of Bitfinex Pay highlights the platform's commitment to delivering a seamless payment processing solution in the crypto space.
