Bitfinex Pay Updates Merchant Dashboard and Token Compatibility
Bitfinex Pay has released version 0.7.7, bringing significant updates to its Merchant Dashboard and token compatibility, according to blog.bitfinex.com. These updates aim to enhance user experience for merchants utilizing the crypto gateway service.
Token Compatibility Changes
The latest update has introduced several changes to token compatibility. Tether EURt on Ethereum has been removed, while new tokens have been added to the platform. These include Quantoz USDQ, StablR USDR, Tether USDt on Solana, and Solana itself, broadening the range of supported digital assets.
Enhancements to Merchant Dashboard
The Merchant Dashboard, a key tool for managing crypto gateways, has seen a variety of improvements. Notably, the default overview view has been altered from daily to weekly, providing a broader perspective on merchant activities. A new flow has been established to facilitate account switching, redirecting users to the overview of the newly selected account with confirmation messages for seamless transitions.
Additional modifications include the removal of the Hours field in POS Checkout forms, limiting expiration time to 30 minutes. Error messages have been refined to better inform users about various issues like payout failures and tax ID discrepancies. Furthermore, merchants can now view payout limits directly in the settings menu.
Fixes and Improvements
Several fixes have been implemented to address previous issues. These include resolving errors related to maximum expiration time in POS Checkout and preventing scientific notation in refund amounts. The Manual Invoice Generator now requires all fields to be completed before activation, ensuring accuracy and ease of use.
Design tweaks have been applied to the Payouts menu, correcting decimal point errors and other minor design flaws. The button to remove the "Address Form" from recipient creation has been added, enhancing user flexibility.
End Customer Payment Flow Updates
Bitfinex Pay has also improved the end customer payment flow. A new disclaimer warns users if the invoice expiration time is under 10 minutes, mitigating the risk of incomplete transactions. Additionally, fixes have been made to prevent incorrect token displays during payment verification and ensure token fields remain active when only one token is available.
These comprehensive updates reflect Bitfinex Pay's commitment to advancing its platform for both merchants and customers, streamlining operations and expanding its capabilities in the crypto payment landscape.
