DevRev has announced the integration of OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol model into its enterprise IT self-service platform, aiming to deliver autonomous self-service capabilities for both employees and customers. The system, branded as Computer and Operator, is designed to balance reasoning, speed, and cost while adhering to enterprise-grade operational workflows and permissions.

Enhanced AI capabilities with GPT-6.1 Sol

GPT-6.1 Sol, introduced by OpenAI, features a 1,050,000-token context window, a maximum of 128,000 output tokens, and five adjustable reasoning-effort settings. The model also incorporates a Responses API for tool calling. According to OpenAI, GPT-6.1 Sol achieves a seven-percentage-point improvement over its predecessor, GPT-6 Sol, on the OSWorld 2.0 offline computer-use evaluation at maximum reasoning effort, while costing less than half as much per task. Standard pricing for the model is $2 per million input tokens and $0.10 per million cached input tokens.

DevRev's enterprise integration

DevRev's Computer platform combines the capabilities of GPT-6.1 Sol with connected business contexts, permissions, and workflows. The system supports write-back operations such as creating ServiceNow tickets, updating HRIS records, and approving access in Okta. Vendor claims suggest that up to 60% of IT tickets can be resolved autonomously at approximately one-quarter the cost per resolution. However, these figures have not been independently verified.

The platform also ensures that autonomous agents operate within organizational rules, escalating tasks to human operators when access, judgment, or exceptions are required. This approach seeks to optimize efficiency while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards.

Strategic partnership with OpenAI

DevRev's integration of GPT-6.1 Sol follows its September 29, 2026, announcement of a partnership with OpenAI. As an OpenAI Marketplace launch partner, DevRev enables customers to contract directly for its services, with eligible customers potentially applying existing OpenAI commitments toward qualifying partner products. The partnership highlights the strategic alignment between DevRev's enterprise solutions and OpenAI's advanced AI capabilities.

While the integration of GPT-6.1 Sol into DevRev's platform represents a significant step in enterprise AI adoption, specific performance metrics, latency improvements, and cost savings for DevRev's deployment remain unverified.
