Gala Games Announces Starlight Market Box Bash Competition
Gala Games has announced an exciting new competition for its Common Ground World players, set to begin on Tuesday, July 23rd at 10am PT. The event, named the Starlight Market Box Bash, will run until Friday, July 26th at 10am PT, offering participants a chance to win $GALA and exclusive in-game items.
This Week’s Box Bash
The Starlight Market Box Bash features a competition centered around selling Starlight Market Boxes. The contest will celebrate community favorites like aged Oak Barrels, glittering Gold, and Sweet Jam. Participants will need to engage in crafting and trading activities, adhering to specific game mechanics such as a trade time of 40 seconds and 1 Gasoline. The competition will take place in the Desert N biome, bordered by Desert N, Mountain E, River S, and River W.
In addition to the standard $GALA rewards, top finishers will also receive a special Crafty Candy Shop Blueprint. This Blueprint reduces the craft time for all Candy Shops, with the reduction percentage varying based on the Blueprint's rarity, ranging from 10% for Uncommon to 20% for Diamond.
Starlight Market Boxes
The community has voted in a new standard recipe for crafting Starlight Market Boxes. The ingredients include 8 Oak Barrels, 15 Gold, 2 Jam, and 1 Wooden Box. The crafting process takes place in the Boxing Facility and the finished product is stored in the Warehouse. The craft time is set at 60 seconds, with the boxes providing a standard cash value of $100K and 5010 standard stars.
Boosts for crafting Starlight Market Boxes include:
- Gold: $4880 increased to $9760
- Oak Barrel: $5500 increased to $11K
- Jam: $25K increased to $50K
The star boosts for Starlight Market Boxes are significant, with the standard stars increasing from 5010 to 50K.
Iron Mine (Rare)
Gala Games has also introduced a new eco-friendly Iron Mine (Rare), which crafts without being slowed down by nearby water and produces only a third of the pollution compared to a regular Iron Mine. This rare item is priced at $199.99 and is available in limited supply, with only 350 units for sale. Players interested in purchasing the Iron Mine can do so through the Gala Games platform.
