With only 28,000 rhinos remaining worldwide, Rouxcel's efforts are critical in protecting these species. The startup uses NVIDIA accelerated computing and the EarthRanger platform to safeguard over 1.2 million acres of rhino habitats.

OroraTech: Monitoring Wildfires and Poaching

OroraTech, a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, uses satellite imagery and AI to detect wildfires and prevent poaching. Their technology monitors over 30 million hectares of land in Africa and Australia, utilizing NVIDIA Jetson modules for data processing. This approach enables real-time alerts and high-precision fire detection, safeguarding wildlife habitats.

Wildlife Protection Solutions: Real-time Monitoring

Wildlife Protection Solutions (WPS) supports conservation projects with remote cameras that use AI to monitor animals and poachers in real time. With 3,000 cameras deployed worldwide, WPS processes 65,000 photos daily to prevent wildlife harm. Their tools, optimized by NVIDIA computing, provide essential data-driven insights for conservationists.

Conservation X Labs: Crowdsourced Wildlife Identification

Conservation X Labs, based in Seattle, employs AI to prevent the sixth mass extinction. Their Wild Me solution uses crowdsourced images to identify species, aiding biodiversity assessments. With a database of 14 million photos, Conservation X Labs trains AI models using NVIDIA technology to facilitate rapid identification and support conservation research.
