IOTA Welcomes New Validators to Rebased Test Network
The IOTA Foundation has officially announced the induction of several new validators into its IOTA Rebased test network, which was launched on November 18, 2024. This move is aimed at strengthening the network's infrastructure and ensuring a robust and secure environment for IOTA stakers, according to the IOTA Foundation Blog.
Key Validators Join the Network
Among the new validators, Twinstake, a leading provider of institutional-grade staking services, has partnered with IOTA to support the network upgrade. With its deep expertise in digital assets and traditional finance, Twinstake is expected to provide a strong foundation for the Rebased network.
Another notable addition is Luganodes, known for its globally distributed nodes and high security standards. With compliance to SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and ISO 27001 standards, Luganodes offers a reliable staking experience, boasting over $2.5 billion in assets staked across more than 45 networks.
Expanding the Validator Network
Nansen, an AI-powered multichain analytics platform, has also joined the IOTA Rebased test network. With $200 million in assets under delegation, Nansen's involvement is expected to provide users with premium options for delegating their tokens, further enhancing the network's capabilities.
Additional validators such as Ankr and Blockscope have also been welcomed to the test network. These providers bring significant experience in maintaining high-performance corporate services and offer users diverse and reliable options for staking.
Contribution to the Blockchain Ecosystem
Staketab, another highly regarded non-custodial staking service, has joined the test network, bringing its extensive expertise and innovations to the table. Known for developing Sui’s leading explorer and analytics platform, Staketab supports over 90 networks and maintains a 99.99% uptime, ensuring dependable service for IOTA stakeholders.
The introduction of these validators marks a significant step in the IOTA Foundation's efforts to enhance the security and functionality of its Rebased network. The community eagerly anticipates the potential mainnet involvement of these validators, contingent on the outcome of the community vote on adopting IOTA Rebased.
