NVIDIA said Activision and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is arriving on GeForce NOW at launch, giving cloud members access to the campaign, multiplayer and DMZ extraction mode on supported devices. The company also said Ultimate members will get GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, extending ray-tracing support to the game’s campaign.

Evidence and context

In a Thursday post published Oct. 22, 2026, NVIDIA said the game will be available on GeForce NOW when it launches, with supported platforms including PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, browsers and supported TVs. The post describes the campaign as spanning Korea, New York, Paris and Mumbai, and says multiplayer features 12 core 6v6 maps. It also highlights DMZ, which it describes as a high-stakes extraction mode where players can loot, fight, negotiate and extract.

The cloud rollout comes alongside other launch details already confirmed by Call of Duty. Background material supplied with the request says Infinity Ward is leading development and that the full game is scheduled for Oct. 23, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One unsupported. The same material says campaign early access began Oct. 16, while DMZ early access began Oct. 20.

NVIDIA also said existing supported Fire TV Stick users can now buy one-month Performance or Ultimate memberships directly through Amazon through an in-app purchase flow processed by Amazon’s billing system. The company framed the change as a simpler path for signing up and streaming on the living room screen.

Beyond Modern Warfare 4, NVIDIA said Square Enix’s FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE and new content for The Elder Scrolls Online are joining the GeForce NOW library this week. The post says Echoes of Skyrim launched Wednesday, Oct. 21, and that the Season Two update is available to stream through GeForce NOW. NVIDIA also said six games are joining the library this week, with availability varying as titles are onboarded after release.

The significance for GeForce NOW is that the service is positioning the title as a launch-day cloud release rather than a later addition, while using the game’s arrival to promote its upgraded RTX 5080-class tier and a new Fire TV billing option. The post does not provide subscriber counts, pricing changes beyond the one-month membership option, or any performance benchmarks.
