NVIDIA Expands AI-Ready Systems with New Certifications
In a significant move to advance artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, NVIDIA announced the expansion of its NVIDIA-Certified Systems program at the COMPUTEX trade show. The new certifications, NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ready and NVIDIA IGX, aim to help enterprises deploy high-performance AI systems with greater ease and reliability, according to blogs.nvidia.com.
NVIDIA-Certified Spectrum-X Ready Systems
The NVIDIA Spectrum-X AI Ethernet platform, touted as the world's first Ethernet fabric built for AI, integrates the NVIDIA Spectrum-4 SN5000 Ethernet switch series, NVIDIA BlueField-3 SuperNICs, and networking acceleration software. This combination promises to deliver 1.6x AI networking performance over traditional Ethernet fabrics.
Spectrum-X Ready servers are designed to serve as the foundation for high-performance AI computing clusters, leveraging powerful technologies such as the NVIDIA Hopper architecture and NVIDIA L40S GPUs.
NVIDIA-Certified IGX Systems
NVIDIA IGX Orin is positioned as an enterprise-ready AI platform tailored for industrial edge and medical applications. It features industrial-grade hardware, a production-grade software stack, and long-term enterprise support. The platform incorporates advanced device security, remote provisioning, and management capabilities, making it suitable for real-time applications in fields like medical diagnostics, manufacturing, and industrial robotics.
IGX systems are engineered to provide high-performance AI and proactive safety features, ensuring low-latency and real-time processing for critical applications.
Expanding Partner Portfolio
Several top-tier partners are set to achieve the new NVIDIA certifications. Companies such as ASUS, Dell Technologies, GIGABYTE, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Ingrasys, Lenovo, QCT, and Supermicro will soon offer NVIDIA-Certified Spectrum-X Ready systems.
Meanwhile, NVIDIA-Certified IGX systems will be available from partners including ADLINK, Advantech, Aetina, Ahead, Cosmo Intelligent Medical Devices, Dedicated Computing, Leadtek, Onyx, and YUAN.
These certifications are part of NVIDIA's broader strategy to provide validated systems and reference architectures that reduce the risk and time associated with deploying AI infrastructure. Each NVIDIA-Certified System undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it delivers enterprise-grade performance, manageability, security, and scalability for NVIDIA AI Enterprise software workloads, including generative AI applications built with NVIDIA NIM inference microservices.
