NVIDIA details industrial AI deployments across Europe

NVIDIA said European industrial companies are using its CUDA-X and Omniverse libraries, along with Cosmos and Nemotron open models, across engineering and manufacturing workflows as it expands factory and simulation tools for industrial AI.

Evidence and context

In a blog post published Oct. 21, 2026, NVIDIA said its Factory Operations Blueprint, or FOX, is now available in early access on GitHub as a framework for developers to build always-on factory manager agents and specialist agents for tasks including visual inspection, root cause analysis, report generation and fleet management. The company said these agents can connect to frontier models including Cosmos and Nemotron and to knowledge sources such as CAD, product lifecycle management, simulation software and IT and operational technology systems.

NVIDIA said Siemens is integrating FOX-built agents into its Intelligence Center X enterprise system, with estimated cost savings of 20%, and that Siemens’ Process Preparation X agents use NVIDIA Cosmos Data Factory tools to generate defect images for circuit-board inspection. At Siemens’ Erlangen electronics factory, NVIDIA said the approach cut calibration time for inspection processes by 40%.

The post also said NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries are being used to accelerate simulation work earlier in the design cycle. NVIDIA said at GTC Berlin it is releasing cuDSS for general availability to speed calculations used in structural stress, fluid flow, electromagnetic fields and semiconductor device behavior. Mercedes-Benz, Cadence, Autodesk, imec, Infineon, Leonardo, Dassault Systèmes, UniversalAGI, PhysicsX, Fermioniq and Mistral were among the companies named in examples covering automotive design, aircraft engineering, semiconductor simulation, marine safety and physics modeling.

For factory operations, NVIDIA said Omniverse and Isaac libraries are being used for digital twins and robotics simulation, including by Audi, Schaeffler, Wandelbots and Falkor, a KONGSBERG company. The company said these systems are being used to test battery production, humanoid robots, assembly workflows and inspection and maintenance use cases before changes are made on factory floors.

The post adds to recent NVIDIA messaging on industrial AI. On Oct. 21, 2026, the company also announced an expansion of its Agent Toolkit with support for grounding enterprise agents in company data, following related industrial AI announcements on Oct. 14 and Oct. 9, according to the source material provided. NVIDIA’s broader software stack also continues to evolve: verified background material says CUDA-X is its collection of GPU-accelerated libraries for computation and Omniverse is its suite of libraries and microservices for physical AI applications and industrial digital twins. Some Omniverse libraries remain labeled prerelease, so availability should not be confused with enterprise-supported production status.
