The session highlighted three key advantages of GPUs: high throughput capacity, efficient management of low-latency workloads, and the ability to support both AI and RAN processes. NVIDIA's Aerial CUDA Accelerated RAN, running on the Aerial RAN Computer-1, was presented as a high-performance solution for 6G deployment.

Digital Twins in Telecommunications

NVIDIA's vision extends to the use of digital twins in the design and simulation of 6G networks. Digital twins offer a continuum between design, deployment, and operations, enabling the creation of realistic simulations that inform real-world implementations. The event showcased NVIDIA Aerial Omniverse Digital Twin (AODT) as a next-generation platform for creating digital twins, integrating physical and digital elements for enhanced system performance.

AI Training Platforms for 6G Development

As 6G development progresses, the need for robust AI training platforms becomes increasingly apparent. NVIDIA's Aerial AI Radio Frameworks were highlighted for their role in bridging the gap between simulation and real-world application, offering tools like pyAerial and Aerial Data Lake for comprehensive AI and radio framework integration.

Research institutions such as Samsung, ETH Zürich, and Northeastern University are already leveraging these platforms to advance their 6G research, focusing on challenges like channel estimation and real-time application deployment.
