OneFootball and Animoca Brands Launch 'OneFootball Club' to Reward Global Fan Loyalty on Base
OneFootball, a leading digital football platform, has announced the launch of the OneFootball Club (OFC) in partnership with Animoca Brands, leveraging the Base blockchain to reward fan loyalty globally. The initiative aims to create a digital football club dedicated to recognizing and rewarding the most engaged football fans worldwide, according to Animoca Brands.
Innovative Fan Engagement
The OFC will celebrate fans' dedication by incentivizing them to document, share, and showcase their journey within a safe, like-minded community. As fans engage more, their profiles will evolve, becoming unique and identifiable. This gamified experience allows fans to compete on global leaderboards for exclusive rewards and achievements, all integrated across OneFootball's ecosystem.
An alpha version of the OFC was released in February 2024 to a select group of external users, witnessing impressive engagement from over 300,000 participants. The next phase of the rollout is scheduled for July 2024.
