(Rejected 4) Project Quras in New Horizon Partnership with Africa Based Blockchain Organization

An Asian-based smart contract platform that allows hidden, privately protected transactions, Quras has entered into a partnership with a non-profit Africa based organization Blockchain Nigeria User Group (BNUG).

The Africa based organization with its headquarters Lagos, Nigeria was launched in 2016 as a non-profit organization with goals to encourage and introduce the learning of blockchain, its development, and adoption in Nigeria and across Africa. BNUG is also a member of the Organization of Blockchain Technology User which is a registered entity with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission.

The partnership was aimed to enable Quras to extend its community reach and move its growth beyond Asia in line with its oncoming mainnet launch in early April.

Representatives of BNUG informed the public of its goals to empower people from Africa to master and develop blockchain coding and infrastructural skills and techniques. The foundation boasts of its majestic knowledge of blockchain application development and multi-platform exposures which allows participants to easily learn how to build smart contracts.

With the new partnership, Quras intends to have seamless access to the Nigerian market which has proven to be a very profitable one to blockchain projects. This should also grant the Quras team the opportunity to closely monitor and benefit from the emerging markets economies of sub-Saharan Africa.

Shigeki Kakuani, CEO of Quras stated in the press release the importance of the partnership with BNUG towards building a strong developer based community.

Increase in the momentum of blockchain adoption in Africa

With blockchain technology Gaining momentum in Africa based industries, BNUG platform is taking measures to develop its talent pools on the continent. A recent report a few months ago shows that Africa's Blockchain Institutes are set to introduce the first Blockchain school in Rwanda sometime in the year 2020.

This recent partnership alongside the incursion of other blockchain projects into the African territories shows that Africa is really proving to be a huge market for blockchain-based projects.
