Tony Kim   Aug 15, 2024 17:56 0 Min Read

The Render Network has announced the launch of its Cinema4D Wizard, aimed at simplifying the rendering workflow for users of Cinema 4D (C4D). This new tool checks project files to ensure they will run correctly on the Render Network and suggests necessary adjustments before rendering, according to Render Network.

Key Features Include

  • Pre-Check Functionalities: Create backups, pack scenes into .zip files, and easily ignore warnings.
  • Scene Checking: Verify render settings, file paths, OCIO configurations, and more for a flawless rendering process.
  • General Settings: Customize default folders, project names, and .zip file destinations for optimal efficiency.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Dockable design, progress indicators, and intuitive buttons make navigation a breeze.

Enhanced Workflow

The Wizard augments native Cinema4D file support on the Render Network, allowing artists to upload jobs directly from Octane for C4D to Render without the hassle of exporting to ORBX interchange formats. The Python-based plugin is designed exclusively for Octane Cinema 4D users, streamlining production workflows for scaling rendering jobs to nearly unlimited decentralized GPUs on the Render Network.

Compatibility and Resources

The Render Network Cinema4D Wizard is compatible with all versions of Cinema 4D from 2022 onwards. Full documentation on using the Wizard can be found in the Render Network Knowledge Base. Additional resources about using native Cinema 4D files on the Render Network are also available in the Knowledge Base.
