The Walking Dead: Empires Introduces New Build and August Updates
Gala Games has unveiled a significant new build for its popular game, The Walking Dead: Empires, alongside several noteworthy updates for August. This new build aims to enhance the game's technical capabilities, providing a foundation for future developments, according to Gala News.
New Build, New Capabilities
The latest build introduces advanced tools that enable the development team to manipulate and adjust game code more efficiently. While most players may not notice immediate changes in gameplay, these enhancements are crucial for the implementation of upcoming features.
One of the first major tests of these new tools will be the introduction of a new first-time user experience. This will be rolled out incrementally, with each step of the tutorial content being added progressively until the feature is fully implemented.
Adjusted Event Schedule
In response to player feedback and data analysis, Gala Games has decided to adjust the event schedule. The Survivor’s Trial XP event has been removed due to low engagement. Additionally, weekly events will no longer span a full week. From Monday to Thursday, players can participate in the Deadland Scavenge event to gather materials. Weekends will alternate between events focused on crafting or combating walkers.
These changes aim to make events more purposeful, allowing players to utilize the materials they collect during the week for weekend activities. Gala Games will continue to monitor events closely and make further adjustments as necessary.
Sasha Sale
Starting Friday, August 2nd at 7am PT, Sasha will be available for direct purchase as the first hero offered in this manner. Known for her resilience and combat skills, Sasha brings valuable abilities to any player's empire.
The sale will feature a tiered pricing structure, with prices for rarities of Uncommon or higher increasing as their supply diminishes. Common heroes will remain at a fixed low price throughout the sale.
All Sasha purchases will be fulfilled directly to GalaChain and will be immediately usable in-game. The sale is not time-limited and will continue until supplies are exhausted or further notice is given.
Building Bigger
Gala Games expressed gratitude for player participation in the public development build of The Walking Dead: Empires. The feedback from players is invaluable for the ongoing improvement of the game.
Additional updates and features are planned for August, promising an exciting month ahead for players. For more information, visit the official Gala News.
