The Swiss National Bank (SNB) is the central bank of Switzerland. SBN conducts Switzerland’s monetary policy as an independent central bank. It is obliged by the Constitution and by statute to act in accordance with the interests of the country as a whole. Its primary goal is to ensure price stability while taking due account of economic developments. In so doing, it creates an appropriate environment for economic growth.

Swiss regulators consider UBS takeover of Credit Suisse to prevent collapse
Swiss regulators are reportedly considering emergency measures to accelerate the acquisition of Credit Suisse by UBS, Switzerland's largest bank. The Swiss National Bank and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority believe that the acquisition is the only way to prevent a collapse in confidence in Credit Suisse following a series of financial scandals.
Bank for International Settlements to Issue a PoC CBDC With the Swiss Central Bank Before the End of 2020
The Bank for International Settlements is set to issue a CBDC at the Proof of Concept stage in conjunction with the Swiss National Bank before year-end.
