Blockchain Explained in One Sentence

It is not easy to explain what is Blockchain to non-tech people. When you tell them Blockchain, they will ask is it a chain? (and maybe show you a google search image by keywords "chain png" or "chains png")

Maybe you will tell them the Blockchain Explained in One Sentence is:

Blockchain is a Chain of Blocks.

Then they will think if blocks are chained up, how far is a block? (and why not call chain block?)

We use block time to descibe the time in chain, every block is one blocktime, no linkage with real time.

What is a Transaction?

In computer world, we use I/O for input output. Blockchain is S/O. S/O meaning is signature and output. Transactions need to be signed by node in order to output.
